- At the end of Mill Street, turn right.
- On Bridge Street, turn right.
- On Great Darkgate Street / North Parade / Northgate Street / Penglais Road, take the 6th right.
- On A4159, turn left.
- At the end of the Un-named Road, turn right.
- On Penrhyncoch Road, go ahead at the crossroads, then turn left at the end.
- On Penglais Road, turn left.
- At the end of Comins Coch Road, turn right.
- On Hill Top / Primrose Hill / Prospect Place, turn right at the traffic lights.
- On Heol Y Bont, at the roundabout take the left exit, then turn right.
- On Min Y Ddol / Fifth Avenue, turn right.
- At the end of Third Avenue, turn right.
- On First Avenue / Penparcau Road / Trefechan Road, turn left.
- At the end of South Road / Castle Terrace, turn right.
- At the end of New Promenade / Y Ro Fawr, turn right.
- At the end of Pier Street, turn left.
- On Great Darkgate Street, turn right.
- On Chalybeate Street, at the roundabout take the left exit.
- On Alexandra Road, turn right.
- Return to the Driving Test Centre.

On Trefechan Road / Penparcau Road, turn left.
On Plas Helyg / Fifth Avenue, take the 3rd right.
At the end of Third Avenue, turn left.
On First Avenue, take the left exit at the roundabout.
On Heol Y Bont, at the roundabout take the 4th exit.
On Prospect Place, turn right at the traffic lights.
On Pwll Hobi / Llanbadarn Road, turn right.

On Coedlan Y Parc / Boulevard St Brieuc, continue ahead through two roundabouts.
At the end of Heol Y Bont, continue ahead.

On Primrose Hill, take the 3rd left.
On Waunfawr, turn right.
At the end of Cefn Llan Road, turn right.
On Bryn Hendre / Penglais Road, take the 2nd left.
On Clarach Road, turn right.
At the end of Bryn Castell, turn left.

Key Route Focus Areas

This long main road appears on almost every route and is a good place to settle your nerves early. Expect steady traffic, frequent junctions, and at least one roundabout.Heol Y Bont Roundabout

Time
Be sure to practise driving at different times of the day. Your test may be scheduled for the morning when traffic is heavier at rush hour.

Aberystwyth Driving Test Centre
Situated in Aberystwyth Football Stadium, it’s a convenient location with good transport links making it easy to reach using public transport. Toilets are available on site, though parking is not provided so you will need to park elsewhere and report in just before your time allocation. Disabled access is yet to be determined, so call ahead to check. The current pass rate of 50% is currently just above the national average. For directions, use Google Maps or Streetview.
