Sat-nav Driving Test

Practice

Independent Driving Test

Whilst undertaking the independent driving test, the examiner will ask the learner driver to follow instructions from the Sat-nav device. The examiner will provide a configured Tomtom Start 52 device. All you’ll have to do is to follow instructions from the device. The make or model of the Sat-Nav that you’ll use in your learning sessions won’t matter one bit. As a leading Satnav company, we provide driving test routes for iPhone, Garmin, Tomtom and Android devices. You can’t utilise your personal Satnav in the Norris Green (Liverpool) driving examination.

We like to supply purchasers with a great deal of support and help with our routes. You’ll quickly become skilled at the various routes we provided. However, we of course recommend using someone who is a skilled instructor.

The Independent driving test doesn’t test your skill in following instructions. Moreover, an independent driving test doesn’t check your skill in remembering directions. If you query the examiner for the directions, he/she will give them to you. Veering off route won’t change your test score in any way. Don’t worry about unclear road signs as the examiner will assist you if you require it. You should understand that you can’t take your own Satnav with you for the test. This is because your personal Sat nav will be configured to give detailed directions.
