Learn Newport (Gwent) Driving Test Routes

Whilst conducting the independent driving test, the examiner will ask the learner driver to take instructions from the Sat-nav. The examiner will provide an already setup TomTom Start 52 device. All you will need to do is to take directions from the satnav. The make or model of the Sat-Nav that you’ll use in your learning sessions won’t make a difference at all. As a premier Sat Nav company, we provide driving test-routes for Garmin, iPhone, Android and Tomtom devices. You can’t utilise your own Sat-nav device during the Newport (Gwent) driving test.

Route-led provides clients with a large amount of support and help to utilise Route-LED's driving test-routes. You’ll get accustomed to all the different sections of the roads to be navigated during the examination. We would recommend using a skilled driving teacher as well. For extra information on how you can practise for your driving examination go to Driving Test Practice

In the course of the independent driving test, the examiner will give the learner all the relevant directions. In case the student becomes lost along the way, they will need to get confirmation on the directions from the examiner. Students cannot utilise their own SatNav for independent driving as they give turn-by-turn instructions. Independent driving will test the ability of the examinee to undertake independent choices.
