Learn Newbury (Hambridge Lane) Driving Test Routes

The examiner will require the learner driver to follow instructions from a configured SatNav on their own. The Sat-Nav will include the route that the student is required to follow. The make or model of Satnav device used while the examination is in progress will not really matter as the test route will be the same. In the situation where the student takes a different route, the examiner will advise accordingly. However, we highly recommend the TomTom Start 52 mainly as it is what examiners tend to utilise while conducting driving tests.

Being a service-oriented company, we supply Route-Led's customers with extra help and support for our driving test routes. Learning with our driving test-routes enables the customers to practise the corners, junctions and roads that they will encounter during their driving tests. To help the student in practising how to drive safely and in addition to perform well during the driving test, we definitely recommend using an experienced driving teacher. How it works

In the course of the independent driving test, the examiner will give the learner all the relevant instructions. If the learner gets confused during the journey, they will be required to confirm the instructions from the test examiner. Learners cannot use their own Sat nav devices for independent driving because they give turn-by-turn instructions. Independent driving will test the skill of the examinee to undertake independent choices.
