Satnav - Driving Test Routes

Driving test-routes can be bought on Route-led's website. Once the routes have been purchased from Route-Led's webpages, the student should load the driving test-route into their Satnav device and begin their practise session. Launceston test-routes include voice guiding, thus all the student needs to do then is to take instructions from the device.

Learn Launceston Test Routes

The test examiner will require the student to follow instructions from a pre-configured Satnav on their own. The SatNav will show the route that the learner will be required to track. The model or make of Satnav device utilised while the exam is going on will not really make a difference as the test route will be the same. In the situation where the learner driver takes a different route, the examiner will advise accordingly. However, we very much recommend the Tom-tom Start 52 mainly as it is what examiners utilise whilst examining driving tests.

Route-Led provides clients with a large amount of help and support to utilise our test routes. You will get used to all the different sections of the routes to be navigated during the examination. We would suggest using a knowledgeable driving instructor in addition. For more free information on what you can do to practise for your driving examination go to Driving Test Practice

During the independent driving test, the examiner will give the student all the relevant instructions. In case the learner gets lost along the way, they will need to confirm the directions from the examiner. Learners cannot use personal Sat-nav for independent driving as they give detailed voice instructions. Independent driving will test the ability of the examinee to undertake independent choices.
