The make or model of the Sat-nav that you’ll use during your learning sessions won’t matter one bit. As a premier Satnav company, we provide test routes for Tomtom, Android, Garmin and iPhone devices. You cannot utilise your own SatNav device during the driving test.
Route-LED provides clients with a high degree of help and support to use Route-LED's test-routes. You’ll get used to all the different sections of the roads to be navigated during the test. We suggest using a knowledgeable driving teacher in addition. For more free information on how you can practise for your driving test please go to Driving Test Practice
The Independent driving test does not test your ability to follow instructions. In addition, an independent driving test doesn’t check your ability to remember instructions. If you need to query the examiner for updated instructions, they will give them to you. Veering off route will not affect your test score in any way. Do not fret about unclear road signs as the examiner will assist you should you require it. Please understand that you can’t bring your personal SatNav device with you for the examination. This is due to the fact that your personal Satnav device will be setup to give step-by-step instructions.
