Practise Barnsley Test Routes

The test examiner will ask the student to follow directions from a configured Sat nav on their own. The SatNav will include the route that the student needs to track. The make or model of SatNav used during the exam will not really matter mainly because the test-route will be identical. In case the student tries a different road, the examiner will let them know and give instructions. However, we highly recommend the Tomtom Start 52 mainly because it’s what examiners utilise while examining driving tests.

Route-led provides clients with a high degree of support and help to use Route-LED's test routes. You will get accustomed to all the different sections of the routes to be navigated during the examination. We would recommend using a skilled driving teacher as well. For extra free information on how you can practise for your driving examination please visit Driving Test Practice

The Independent driving test does not check your skill in following instructions. Moreover, an independent driving test does not check your skill in remembering instructions. If you ask the examiner for updated instructions, he/she should give them to you. Veering off route won’t change your test score in any way. Do not fret about unclear road signs as the examiner will help you should you need it. You should note that you can’t take your own Sat-nav with you to take the test. This is due to the fact that your personal Satnav will be setup to provide step by step directions.
